Have you ever played a Mario Kart marathon and then decided to go out and drive in the real world? Sometimes there a few moments when the video game world blends with reality and you halfway expect the word “POOMP!” to cover the car that just cut you off. Based on the blur of real and digital life, DeviantArt user RETROnoob has created a set of amazing altered photographs that capture that mesh.

On an even stranger note, when I’m in the real world and see someone driving a pick-up truck I noticed myself thinking “Who would drive in those? They’re so slow, you could never out run the cops in that.” GTA3, you have turned me into a potential criminal. O_o
