Vote for The Game Dame

… and all your wildest dreams will come true.

Yesterday I found out that Hal Halpin – president of the ECA – nominated my blog for the “Best Hobby Blog” Bloggers Choice Award! If anything I‚Äôve written has ever made you smile (or at least made you roll your eyes and smirk), show me some love and vote for me. It‚Äôd be really cool to take the trophy home on this one. To vote, you‚Äôll need register for an account, but it only takes a second and you‚Äôll make me one very happy girl.

Guitar Hero III Platform Confirmed?

Activision mentioned that the next GH installment could appear on additional platforms, but until recently, we were unsure which ones. Have you heard about the controversy surrounding GTAIV yet? Here’s a good article from GamePolitics.com. In a nutshell, the mayor and other city officials have their panties in a bunch because this crime-oriented game is set in Liberty City.

*sigh* I wish people would spend less time worrying about things that don’t freaking matter. It’s a game. It’s fiction. Get over it. I think I remember the White House getting blown up Men in Black Independence Day (thanks Sam). Did city officials freak out and say the movie should be banned from theaters and pulled off of the shelves? I don’t think so. Stupid blame-shifters.
