All that guy does is paint screenshots. Its like paint by numbers. Its not original art.
Fans of my show know I like what Chris (8bit artist) is doing cause I often use his renditions to stump out guests during the trivia sesssions! Bravo Dame – good lookin out as we say.
Mr. Ollan does some very nice work. It takes a lot of patience to do the kind of art he does… Painting 90 degree angles and straight lines are extremely tedious regardless if everything can be gridded or not. 8-bit Artist is a genius for doing something as simple as reproducing an old school screenshot and he does it well.
I won’t be in town to see the show but I love what Chris Ollan does.
i remember reading in an interview this guy did that the most pixels he painted in one painting was almost 38,000. i dont think someone like “geeez” would attempt such a task and get such a great result as this dude did.
Dang. I guess geeez got tolt. Good to see Chris has some strong supporters out there.

Man, makes me wish I was in New York for that. 8-Bit Artist makes some very impressive art. especially his Gradius and Contra paintings.
