PS3 Banned from Prisons

This blurb from Next Generation says that UK Home Secretary John Reid has banned Sony’s PlayStation 3 from jails. Uhhh… WTF?! Why would video game consoles be allowed into jails in the first place? Are you kidding me?! Apparently, they banned the PS2 back in June 2006 because the inmates were watching porn on the console. :-/ Why did inmates get access to a PS2 in the first place?! Do you mean to tell me that if I’d broken the law before 2006, I would’ve gotten thrown into a climate controlled cell where I didn’t have to work, someone else would do my laundry and feed me, everyone would leave me the hell alone and I could play video games?!? Stupid guidance counselor!!!

That is just a little insane. The only game prisoners should be playing is “Don’t drop the soap”.

I never even thought about it till i read you say it, but yeah, it is prison not video game and porn fantasy camp. What else do these guys got, petting zoos and water slides? That was just a joke. If I find out that it is true, I would be totally aggro-vated.

Dude, that would be whack. Actually, I think some may argue that petting zoos do exist in prisons… “I’m a MAN not a FISH!”
